We are a team of change-makers who believe that every helping hand can raise a refugee and create a better future for them.
UAPD is a non-profit, humanitarian organization in Uganda dedicated to supporting refugees and vulnerable communities. Since 2010, we have restored dignity, promoted peace, and empowered communities through education, healthcare, legal aid, psychosocial support, women empowerment, and environmental initiatives.
We partner with local authorities, host communities, and international organizations to deliver programs that improve lives and foster peaceful coexistence among refugees and host populations.
